All payments are processed by Ohio Child Support Payment Central. Under Ohio law, direct payments to the custodial parent are considered a gift and will not be credited to your child support case.
Methods to pay your child support
There are 4 options available to make child support payments:

Please be sure to include your SETS case number (10 digit case number beginning with a “7”) and your social security number to ensure proper posting of your payment.
- To make a payment by checking account debit, visit http://oh.smartchildsupport.com . There is no charge for payments sent to Ohio CSPC. The payment start date must be at least five (5) business days from the date you register your account. This will allow sufficient time for the bank account information to be verified (prenote). If the account has been previously verified, then the payment must be scheduled at least three (3) business days prior to its payment date.
- For electronic funds transfer from your checking or savings account or payment with a debit card please visit www.expertpay.com Aside from a one-time $2.50 registration fee, there is no charge for payments made via ExpertPay. Please allow seven (7) business days for your payment to be received.
- For payment with a credit card please visit www.e-childspay.com Please be aware that the processor charges a fee of $11.75 for all payments made on this site. Allow seven (7) business days for your payment to be received.
- Pay by MoneyGram - You may now make cash payments at many retail locations throughout the State where MoneyGram payment services are offered, or on-line by credit card using the "Pay Bills" option at www.moneygram.com. Use state code 14674 when using MoneyGram services.

Options to receive Child Support payments:

Attention e-QuickPay Users:
Effective June 30, 2019, you will no longer receive
payments on the e-QuickPay card.
- Starting on July 1, 2019, the Ohio e-QuickPay Debit MasterCard will be discontinued, and a new card will take its place: the smiONE payment card.
- Keep your e-QuickPay card until you spend down the balance. The balance will NOT transfer, and it still can be used after July 1.

Avoid delays in receiving your new smiONE card - make sure your address is updated with the Child Support Office.

Three ways to update your address:
1. Go online to the Child Support Customer Service Portal and use the "Send New Message" feature,
